This project is built around a preserve of endangered tree species. The pathways take inspiration from the form of a banyan tree’s roots. The site features a laboratory, built for a maximum of 7 people, with the purpose of propagating the dying natural environment. In this remote nature preserve, each pair of researchers shares a bed and bathroom, while all 7 share the kitchen, living, and dining areas. This minimal indoor space encourages users to dwell in, and appreciate, the environment they are attempting to save.
